  • Marvel Kids. So this is a similar strip generator to the rest but with Marvel kids you can make strips or full length comic books Plus its the only site where you can use Marvel characters in your book. Its cool flashy and colorful.
  • Make Belief Comix. A cool comic strip generator with very simple and easy to use control. Once you finish you can print the strip or email it. They also have an app for making comic strips on a tablet.
  • Strip generator. This is a site were you can create simple comic strips. There is a wide variety of characters to choose from. No need to register but if you do you get more features.
  • Bitstrips. a comic strip generator with a high amount of control of the look of characters. Registration is required to print out strips.

  • Donna Young. Her site which is set up to aid people who teach their kids at home is a great resource for lesson plans and classroom materials. Especially her page devoted to comic book panels which you can download and use in your class.
  • The Digital Comic Museum. This is a great site filled with royalty free golden age comics. The golden age was from1930 to the late 1940’s. Once you register you can download as many comics as you want for free.
  • The Comic Strip Library. This is an archive of downloadable comic strips by the genius creator of Little Nemo, Windsor McCay. Highly recommend checking these out.
  • Comic Book Plus Another massive online library where you can down load and royalty free comics for use in class.

  • Worm World Saga A very cool fantasy digital graphic novel. One neat bonus is your students can read the book in more than one language.
  • Jeff Smith. The website of Jeff Smith the creator of the eve popular book Bone. Online comics and art.
  • Scott McCloud author of the very important book Understanding Comics. If you want to know more about how comics work and how to make more effective comics you have got to read his work.

  • Trace Effects. A cool online video game made by the U.S. State Department with a comic book tie in at the end of every level. Very useful way to learn english and have fun at the same time.
